Born in Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Trisha is a graduate of NCAD (National College of Art and Design, where, under the tuition of some of Irelands greatest art tutors of the time, she developed her love for painting in oils. As part of her studies she also spent time in Connemara, County Galway, learning and taking inspiration from the renowned Irish artist Charles Lamb.

After graduating in 1966, she moved to Ballina, County Mayo, where she raised her 5 children and still teaches art.

Over the years, Trisha has also collaborated with a local stained glass company designing and painting on various commissions for church windows. Her work can be seen in various churches throughout the west of Ireland.

Trisha’s first solo exhibition was held in her home town of Ballina in June 2016 and was a massive success. Paintings from the exhibition are now in private collections in Hong Kong, The Netherlands, France, the UK and in Ireland.

Her paintings are all oil on canvas. Her inspiration is taken from her beautiful natural surroundings in Mayo, as well as from photos she and her family have taken during their travels around the world.

She truly hopes you enjoy her paintings as much as she enjoyed creating them.
